Commencing operations in 1992, Starmaid has become one of the fastest growing companies in the housewares industry. The main manufacturing plant is based in Dandenong, located south east of Melbourne.

With capacity to produce 24 hours a day, Starmaid satisfies the requirements of Australia’s major retail customers & consumers.  Maintaining & pioneering the microwave cookware market, Starmaid is proud to boast, that six out of ten Australian homes, will own at least one of our products.

Continued growth for Starmaid International in the Australian market & several acquisitions of well known Australian brands including divisions of Sabco & Willow, have provided stepping stones to international markets from the United States, United Kingdom & Asia

The Starmaid International business philosophy since 1992 has been to provide the consumer with unique, functional & well designed products that fill a need in the kitchen & around the home. More recently this need continues to be filled in the work place with functional & stackable storage items & ‘home to work’ food safe storage products.  Put simply, our goal is to continue to educate our customers in the use of Starmaid products that provide time saving benefits, convenience and value for money.

All Starmaid new product concepts are created in house.  We use talented & forward thinking design houses to move from concept to product reality. We provide a custom design service for a diverse range of customers using our own on-site tool room enabling fast & efficient tool production & maintenance.

Our plans for the future include continuing to develop functional products that add value to our customers, and increasing our opportunities in global markets.
